Kreios, Shift Consulting (Mexico City)

Along with my responsibilities as a project manager at Kreios, I got involved in several IT projects:

• Aliat Universities, several campuses in Mexico:
  • Development of a centralized application platform for scholarships or discounts for the network of 52 campuses and a total of 12,000 students. The platform is able to add, edit or delete requests, business rule modules to accept or deny, and integration with legacy systems. The 4-month project, in production, MEAN Stack. Participation: FullStalk
  • Development of a platform for the equivalence of courses for new students. Survey of new applications, reading of documents by OCR Google Vision, AI for automatic assignment of courses, and integration with legacy systems. The 2.5-month project, in production, MEAN Stack. Participation: FullStalk
  • Document recovery platform for students focused on reviewing missing documentation in repositories, this tool communicates to the student through SMS, email, WhatsApp and push messages their missing documents. The 3-month project, in production, MEAN Stack. Participation: Backend dev Nodejs
• XL Insurance, Mexico City:
  • Control Desk administration tool for automatic entry and distribution of requests to policy issuers in operations, deployed on MEAN Stack
  • Development of an insurance administration platform for XL Insurance México. .Net C # based tool with a SQL Server database on AWS
  • Generation of dynamic dashboards for general management and operations management developed on AWS QuickSight
• AXA Insurance, Mexico City:
  • information Automation for processes integration between legacy policy issuing systems using UIPath.
  • Development of chatbot with natural language AI to answer questions of current o potential customers on the AXA webpage, deployed on Javascript and Google DialogFlow

Strategic Impact Solutions - Stratis (Mexico City)

As head of the business analysis division for the XL Insurance Mexico account at Stratis, I was responsible for leading a team of consultants in the process of mapping different operating departments of the insurance company, including policy issuance, collection & credit administration, claims operation, regulatory compliance and financial analysis.

With the generation of more than 120 operating flow diagrams, lean manufacturing analyzes were carried out on these, finding more than 250 areas of opportunity for process and automation improvements

AIG Insurance (Mexico City, New York and other 6 office on South America)

As a change agent I worked to eliminate waste and embed an adaptive culture within underwriting, marketing, executive and transactional teams. Within sixteen weeks projects, we progressed through planning, diagnostic, design and implementation stages. I conducted interviews and observations to collect information, created process maps, drafted standard operating procedures, organized and conducted structured problem solving workshops, developed business case for opportunities and helped teams update their processes and capture best practices.

We implemented a management toolkit, provided training on tools, coached team leaders and team members and worked to optimize current operating models. Finally, I collaborated with local, national and global teams to encourage dissemination and adoption of best practices. I was involved in 4 different initiatives for this program:

• Commercial Property – Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Puerto Rico
• Shared Service Center - Bogotá: Policy Servicing, Account Receivables and Claims - Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Chile and Caribbean
